The Repulsin B was a model of vortex motor, with implosion technology. The Repulsin B had two membranes. The top membrane was fixed while the bottom membrane rotated at very high speeds. The turdine inside consisted of 120 blades, which cause something known as an “implosion” inside the vortex chamber. This produced thrust, which was much stronger than any other sort of centrifugal engine in the Repulsin A model. A screw-impeler made it so the Repulsin B generated suction, as well as a vortex much similar to a tornado or typhoon. Both of these effects made it so the Repulsin B could use both trust and suction to move through the air.
Orignally this design was going to be implemented on U-boats, back in 1941, but by 1943, the idea proved to be infeasible.
This design was worked on and tested at a technical school in Rosenhugel, Vienna, until 1944 when he was dismissed by the SS. He was replaced by Dr. Richard Miethe, who would propose other ways to use this technology, most of which would be things that a more closely related to rocket and jet technology. Miethe modified the original idea with another turbine to produce a better axial flow, which would theoretically produce 10,000 hp. There is speculation that this design was built and flown , by the team at Breslau in 1944.
