Repulsin A

At Mauthausen, Schauberger was ordered by Himmler to carry out research at the concentration camp, with the help of the SS. He was given around two dozen skilled prisoners to work with. Some of these research experiments involved the use of atomic energy making them extremely dangerous, luckily prisoners were replaceable. Schauberger and his team weren’t.

Schaubeger went to work constructing his Repulsin A model of vehicle. The model was 2.4 meters wide, with a smaller electric motor inside, capable of rotating a propeller at high speeds. Unfortunately, the test at the laboratory ended in disaster. When the model started the team lost control of it causing the device to shoot up and hit the ceiling, causing the scaled invention to shatter. This life-threatening accident led Schauberger to wonder if this could have been an act of sabotage by the prisoners.

A replacement model was built by 1943 with an improved design, title Repulsin B. This this was nick named “Forelle” meaning Trout. This was because the device was shaped like a fish.

The Repulsin model worked, when an electric motor would cause a Coanda effect, which create a differential aerodynamic between the surfaces on the inner and outer parts of the hull. When the device reached a higher speed a type of high electrostatic generator due to the air particles would form in the vortex chamber which would make it act like a type of high electrostatic generator due to the air particles. In the Repulsin A, the ionization of the air, would make cause the air particle to glow.
