In Queensland Australia, a man by the last name Rowe, created his own version of a flying wing craft, based on concepts similar to Aurthur Sak’s design.
This plane did fly.

The first time I came across pictures of a disc-shaped airplane was in the early 1980s when a Brazilian magazine published an article about the Vought V-173 “Flying Pancake.”
